Hurricane Prayer Alert

shelter-from-the-storm

“…The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].” – James 5:16

Thank you to all who responded to the call to pray for the safety of those who are in the path of Hurricane Matthew.

PLEASE do not stop now…it is not over! There are many who are still experiencing the effects of this storm. The reports are that it will go out and turn back inland. We MUST use our prayers of faith to call for it to dissipate with no further loss of life.

We must pray that the people in areas hit will be wise in their decision-making and stay safe!

There are many who have perished, and many still who have lost all in Haiti and other places that need support. Whether you can donate or not, you can pray that all needs will be met in short order. Also, pray for the comfort of those who have lost friends and loved ones.

Do not allow current circumstances to diminish your belief in the power of prayer. We have more power than we know! Thank you!

Father, I lift up everyone affected by this storm. Forgive us for not taking heed and praying sooner.

May the power of this storm diminish and become ineffective from this moment forth. I say: Matthew, you turn back out to the sea and die…in the Name of Jesus!

Father, we pray that everyone who needs help and support receives it quickly. Touch the hearts of all who are able to respond to the call for help. Please comfort all who has lost friends and loved ones…as only You can!

In Jesus’ Name….Amen!
