Starting Your Day Right

The way we start our day is a good indicator of the way it will go. Why do I say that? It is because of the part our thoughts and words play in the creation of our lives. The Bible tells us how important it is…for instance:

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. — Proverbs 18:21

The words we speak are powerful and the way we use them will determine the benefit or consequence we will receive. In other words, what we say will determine the course of our lives.

Therefore, what better way to start our day than to use the power of our words giving thanks to The Lord! We should give thanks for waking up and seeing another day; for His Love for us; for our health (sick or well, pain or no); for our provisions and so on. Giving thanks to God is a great way to start your day!
