“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” –John 13:34-35 (NLT)
Tonight’s Prayer Focus:
Tonight, as we pray, let us focus on love. Not just love, but the love we show one another. Too many of us are not walking in love the way our Lord has determine and commanded that we should. Let us repent, give up that hardness of heart and receive the Love and the Lord and express that Love to everyone…especially our Brothers and Sisters in the Body of Christ.
Father, we thank you for your love for us and towards us. We repent for not allowing your love to shine through us in dealing with one another and then to the world at large.
Help us to release the hurt and pain we have been harboring in our hearts. Help us to forgive any and everyone who have ever hurt us. Help us make “I love you” more than some empty phrase we say because we are “supposed to“.
Help us to empty out our hearts of everything that is not like you and then allow you to fill us with Love, Real Love, Love the way it’s supposed to be…Your Love. We thank you for all the healing that is taking place in our hearts, even now!
In Jesus’ Name…Amen!Have Faith1st ©2015 Faith1st Ministries
