Be a Believer

Be a Believer38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.—Hebrews 10:38-39

When we live by faith, we are not moved by the things that move everyone else. We are moved only by what we believe! Why? Because….WE ARE BELIEVERS!! Believers live a life of faith! It is believers that are to show everyone else how good God is…not just talk about it and sing songs about it! This is what makes us different from the rest of the world. The Word says, “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4).

In other words, we have the greater one on the inside of us! The things that have everyone else ‘shaking in their boots’ ought not to affect us one bit. Regardless of what may be going on around us, we can walk with immunity by ‘hiding’ ourselves in God’s ‘shadow’ because the scripture tells us that “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand”—Psalms 91:7. We can always triumph because we know in Whom we believe!

  1. Thank you Sebastian, I always see so much Love in your Posts, not the fleshy kind that agrees with what God calls evil just to please itching ears but Love that comes from a strong Faith and certainty in our God of Love and Truth.

How sad for those who do draw back unto perdition which is the unforgivable sin, it is blaspheming the Holy Spirit, if we call Him a liar and believe this it in our heart. It is Him who leads us to heart repentance, we are indeed sinners who need forgiveness and Salvation. How can anyone be saved or brought back to repentance when they reject Jesus in their heart, not just their head because of deception, it is Him who brings us to full Salvation by His Truth when we repent and submit putting our flesh to death and so God conforms us into Jesus’ image and we are made pure and set free from the bondage and slavery of sin, how wonderful even now that no Temptation is greater then we can bear He provided a way out, we can reckon ourselves dead to sin.

How can people reject Jesus even knowing of Him, some even receive a gift and are part of a Church before they fall away, by rejecting Him, to do so is to crucify Him again if they repent without heart conviction but as God tells us they were never His in the first place, He protects our souls. To believe is to accept fully who He is, our Lord and Saviour and part of The Godhead and we will show this in our lives.

Satan will never motivate us to be kind, this is The Holy Spirit working in our lives, unlike the Pharisees who wanted a payback many give from the heart. I never judge anyone’s Destiny, I leave this to God but He will confirm their presence with Him when needed as I have found to be True more than once.

Christian Love from both of us – Anne

I’m still learning the full depth of “We are more than conquerors through the One Who loves us’ (Rom 8:37). Belief + Experience = Peace
    Thanks for raising it again.

You’re welcome! I do not know if we will ever get the full depth but I sure am having fun getting what He is revealing to me. I am increasing my capacity to receive from Him! Amen to your equation…I love it!
