Life-Changing Experience

Godly Thoughts

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2 (New Living Translation)

Today’s Thought: It is time for a paradigm shift. God does not see us like we see ourselves. He does not see us sick, broke, worthless and hopeless. All of that is under the curse and Christ redeemed us from the curse (Galatians 3:13). We who believe are made free from everything that came with the curse of sin.

So, let’s renew our minds by the Word of God to think about and see ourselves differently. It’s life changing!!

Confess this: I have been redeemed from the curse and I have the mind of Christ. I am made free from all that works against me. I see, think and speak differently; because I am made new by the blood of Jesus!

  2. Such good news Sebastian, it’s True, in Christ Jesus God sees us perfected and by our choosing to put our flesh to death that causes us to rebel and sin and not submit, ( see below ) we are empowered by The Spirit to walk in His Fruit, Galations 5 which means we are turning away from and rejecting evil to do good but why do we… because we have asked and received The Holy Spirit who empowers us to Love God and others unconditionally and so are obedient, which means we also forgive from the heart as God does but this does not mean we accept what He calls evil as good, this is not Love.

Romans 8 :12-15 Therefore, brothers/ sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. or if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Thank you Sebastian, how wonderful is God’s Truth -Christian Love from us both – Anne

  3. Sometimes, it is just hard not to conform… you know… But I always keep in mind Romans 12:2 and always praying to God about it…. Well, I think God is testing my trust to Him. 🙂

    • Sebastian says:

That difficulty is pressure from the enemy to make you conform. He can’t make you do it on his on but need your submission to get you bound up.

What is needed is our willingness to submit to God and His Word in order for our lives to be “transformed” by the renewing of our minds. Simply, the more we submit to God…the less we will ‘conform’ to the pressures of this world.

      Blessings!
