Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Father's Day!Fathers, don’t exasperate your children by coming down hard on them. Take them by the hand and lead them in the way of the Master.Ephesians 6:4 (MSG)

Happy Father’s Day to every one you…who are fathers!

Being a father is the most important responsibility we have, and one of the hardest jobs we will ever do. To truly be effective as a Godly father, we must submit ourselves to God first and lead our children in His Way and His Word; this way we will leave a greater legacy that any trust fund! Place your trust in God to help you to do it well!

Have a blessed day!

A Father’s Love

A father is respected because
He gives his children leadership…
Appreciated because
He gives his children care…
Valued because
He gives his children time…
Loved because
He gives his children the one thing
they treasure most – himself.

I wish that my dad had known and walked with the Lord when I was growing up–he was well-intentioned, but so demanding and controlling. And I wish even more that I’d known what I know now, that dad deserved honor, regardless. I was an obedient child, out of fear–but I realize now that my heart attitude lacked the honor God commands us to have. When Dad died, a friend told me that he did have “saving knowledge”–so I’m hoping that’s true, that we’ll be reunited in perfect love that honors us both. God bless you–Happy Father’s Day! love, sis Caddo

Thank you Sis! Although our earthly fathers may not have led us in the way of the Lord, we Have a Heavenly Father who loves us and shows us how to walk in His light. May His Peace be with you always!
