Make the Choice to Get Up

ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you–rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! (Isaiah 60:1 AMP)

This should be the season of joy and expectation; but unfortunately, for many, this is a time of depression and despair. The gift of our Savior should give each of us hope of a brighter day and future.

Do not allow the negatives of your past to influence your future. Regardless of what you have been through or what you may be currently facing, God has made a way for each of us in the person of Jesus Christ!

Wake up and get up! Accept the overriding power given to us by The Lord and take dominion over your life…it is worth it!

I think I will start my day like this. How about you?

  4. Hey pastor, I re-read this post a couple times. Trying to really let it sink in. One word junped out at me: “expectation”.

I know that is something I really need to start doing more of is really expecting God to Move! Move in our blog! Move in our Bible Study! Move in my family! Move everywhere!

Thank you Pastor. Blessings to you and your family!

You’re welcome! I once heard someone say, “expectation is the breeding ground for miracles!” I will be focusing more on expectation as the Lord directs! Thank you for the blessings and I pray the same for you and yours as well!
