We Have Divine Protection

This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him. – Psalm 91:2 (NLT)

Example: A child may run behind their parent when frightened by an animal or a stranger. They do this because it is the safest place they know. They have learned their parent is there to protect them from harm. Many a child has said, ‘I will tell my mommy or daddy.’ They say this because they believe the parent will defend them!

If children can believe in their natural parents to this end, then our belief in the willingness and ability of our Heavenly Father to protect and defend His children should be just as sure. The Word of God assures us that in God we have protection, provision, and defense against all enemies.

As Believers we meet all qualifications with one exception. We must trust Him to do what the Bible says He will do. There is no failure in God, the only failure is our failure to depend upon and trust Him wholeheartedly!

Therefore, let us remain as trusting as little children and run to our Father first! Let us stand behind Him and His Word with boldness and assurance because He can handle it!

Confess This: I trust the Lord to be my defense and protection. Regardless of what I face, God is my help and protector!

      Thank you! You know, we have stood on that Psalm for our lives and those of our children for years! When our son went to Afghanistan, we stood on that Psalm the entire time he was there!

  5. Sebastian, The stories I have to tell about how our Lord has came to my rescue. This time I am going to tell on myself. Sometimes when I get a little testy with my wife she says to me, “I am going to tell Abba Father on you! Did you forget I am His favorite daughter? You know I am a child of the King!” What a great way to look at our Lord! What a great way to keep me in line! She is the best wife a man could ever have and the best help mate in the world. I also know she is on loan to for me to love and to care for till my Lord asks for her back. Amen James

      Hi James! Yes indeed, He is always there! I love the way your wife refers to our Father in such a real and personal way! I believe that is exactly the way we should receive and yield to Him daily! God bless you my brother!
