Have Faith in God – Part 2

Have Faith in God – Part 2

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mark 11:21-24 (KJV)

 The Effect of Our Words

The operation of faith is to put what you believe into action by using your words as a creative force (vs. 23). It is not enough to have faith in God’s Word only, but we must also have faith in our words. To put it simply, speak only what you want to come to pass.

Because whether we realize it or not, we are getting those things that we are speaking. Now the question is…what are we getting? If we do not like what we see in our lives (sickness, lack, etc., ) then we need to check on the words that are coming out of our mouths.

Are you sick…what are saying? Do you spend a lot of time talking about what is always hurting or what disease runs in your family? If so, then that is what you are creating in your life. Are you broke…what are you saying? Do you spend a lot of time talking about what you cannot afford or how much everything costs and how little you have? Do you call yourself poor or broke?

The words of your mouth are creating many of the circumstances of your life. Don’t like what you have? Then change it by changing your words. Do an inventory of the words you are speaking. If you are speaking words of doubt, death, disaster, lack and impossibility…then change those to words of faith, life, safety, abundance, and possibility. If you do, it will make a difference in your life.

Does negative speech nudge open the door allowing Satan and his crew access to our hearts and minds?

Absolutely it does! Jesus said that it is what comes out of our mouths that defile us (read Matt.15:10)! The bible also says that “death and life is in the power of the tongue.” (Prov. 18:21). Finally, please read and meditate on Matt. 12:33-37.

The Bible has a lot to say about our speech and it’s importance in our lives. Thanks for asking! God bless! –S

This was a very good and insightful post. I believe most people do not give much thought to the impact words can have, both naturally and spiritually. continue to give the truth of the word.
